We were originally booked into another hotel that was mis-sold to us and noisy, dirty and unhygienic, so booked ourselves into the Pavillion. What a relief! Yes, the 1960s tower block is being demolished but the Winter Palace and the Pavillion are clean, calm, peaceful and well-run and still have the best gardensand pool in Luxor. I booked the room via their hotel website & funny enough they couldn't retrieve the reservation at all & had no clue i was arriving!
