Coki is a fun beach to hit for the day- yes, it gets packed when there are ships in (check the schedule) but even then, its a good timeif you can get out there early and get a good spot. Prepare to get approached for chair rentals, braiding, etc- a simple "no thanks" takes care of that. I second the... more

I've been to Coki several times and again just last week. I am concerned by the impact on which the tourists have with this beautiful environment. Most importantly, please do not feed dog bones to the fish. Think about it. Would you eat a dog bone? Of course not. It's not part of your diet. So why would you give... more

To fully enjoy Coki you must expect the unexpected! There are FISH galore but dont expect the refinements of USA Florida. The beach is perfect for snorkelling. Check out where restroom is first so you dont set up a long walk from it. Vendors enjoy bartering with you but mostly their prices are very reasonable. Their standard of living is... more

Don't expect a scene from "Castaway", it will be crowded if there are cruise ships in town. Here is what you do. Get out of the ship ASAP and take a taxi to Coki Beach ($10 each way per person) you can negotiate with the driver for smaller children. We were a group of 10 and they only charged us... more

When you go to Coki Beach ask for a guy named Web - he will take care of anything you need. The beach is the best ever - that of course is my opinion. Buy some dog bones from Web and feed the fish - kids & adults love this. I would stay away from the food they serve at... more

Just got back from a full day here and have this to report: Coki beach is free & open to the public and located next to Coral World. It is less than a half mile long, the sand is fine and soft, the water is a pleasant blue and there are freelance waiters which work the areas along the beach... more

We took a cruise that stopped at St. Thomas and caught a cab to the Kmart. From there, we found a bus driver named Elvis who took us to Coki Beach. It was breathtaking. It is a fairly small beach, but was not very crowded. We walked to the end towards the left and sat right in front of a... more

I wanted to give Coki beach a chance while vacationing last week as I had never been there before We went to Coki one morning around 9am on July 5th, perhaps the date is important. I was aware of the surroundings, the buildings and actually enjoy the local culture of the island. At this point I was not deterred. What... more

I love Coki Beach! It's a small beautiful, unpretentious beach with a true Caribbean Island feel! The water is crystal clear and turquoise blue, and fish was swimming all around us. It's probably one of the safest beaches to swim in since there were no waves at all when we were there! Local food stalls and restaurants were lined along... more

I experienced the most amazing snorkeling at Coki Beach! My family arrived on the Carnival Destiny and took an open air taxi about 15 minutes ($9 per person each way) to the beach. We rented snorkeling gear and were given dog biscuits to feed the fish. We were completely surrounded in schools of fish. It was truly a fantastic experience!... more
