My husband and I visited Punta Laguna a few days ago after a trip to Coba. We got there about 11am which isn't the best time to spot the monkeys - apparently early morning or late afternoon is prime primate time. It costs about $28 dollars for entrance for two people and a guide, most speak some English, although obviously... more

We booked a day tour to Coba and Punta Laguna with AGI Tours. Our guide was wonderful. We spent several hours at Coba and then went on to Punta Laguna. I wanted to see the spider monkeys. Punta Laguna was a wonderful adventure! We met a nice couple from Seattle that told us to go! Thanks to them we made the drive and truely had a wonderful time. Punta Laguna is approx 10 km from the Coba ruins to the north. I use Coba as a marker only because everyone knows how to send you to Coba.... more
