I went onto the BMW website and signed up for the tour of the BMW factory. It is amazing and a must for BMW fans. It is included in the cost of visiting BMW Welt (6 euros) but you need to book in advance. I speak German so I ended up taking the tour in German but make sure you... more

I did the BMW factory tour, and the Welt tour. For the factory tour, you have to sign up in advance, which you can do by calling the Welt (there is a sign up page on the website as well, but it's only in German). The factory tour was awesome - you get to see lots of different phases of... more

The new ultra modern cathedrial of BMW worship is worth a stop when in Munich. The facility which opened in October, contains exhibits of BMW's advanced auto technology, new vehicles, and is surrounded by dramatic modern architecture.
