I have been to Tallinn many times. I enjoy wandering around the streets taking pictures. There is always something that I haven't noticed before: a beautiful door, a decorative drainpipe, an interesting alleyway... My wife likes handicrafts and spends her time looking at stalls or diving into little shops. When we get cold or tired, we stop for a coffee... more

Our Baltic cruise made Tallinn one of its stops. While not as impressive as some of the other larger European capitals visited, it had charm all its own. The old town was easy to see on foot. The medieval architecture is still well preserved. In the town square, the locals had staged a medieval fair for the tourists. Very well... more

One of the UNESCO world heritage sites, this place is beautiful. We were there in October 2005 and had a great time. The place is still relatively uncommercialised compared to places like Prague but I guess in about 5 years it will be like Prague. It is relatively good value for mney and there are many quaint little traditional bars... more
