The Jemaa el Fna was my least favourite thing about our time in Marrakech. It seems nothing more than a way for the locals to intimidate the tourists. Big, paved, open-area surrounded by restaurants and shops; A completely unique experience, not to be missed if in Marrakesh! Everyone raves about the Jemaa el Fna however i didn't really think it was all that special. The food stores at night were ok, the nicest food i had was at a store that only sold lamb and was very popular with the locals, it was about 30dirham for a lamb sandwich and just 1dirham for mint tea, everywhere else... more
