A very nice place. Go to the beach closer to the islands. The water is excellent, not so deep as in Sarande and not as cold, the islands are very close to swim at. There is fresh fish in the tavern huts, from the nearby boats, try the superb mussels from the butrint lake. The food was delicious and cheaper... more

We spent 2 days at the beach at Ksamil. We stayed in Saranda and spent one morning touring Butrint and the afternoon at the beach. We had such a good time we returned the next day for the whole day.
