Depends on your liking of museums. In this instance if one has a love of the author R L Stevenson, then the visit is very worthwhile. The tour guide was very good & the artifacts on show interesting. Vailima, the plantation house that Robert Louis Stevenson built overlooking Apia in 1890, has been wonderfully restored. The people who funded this restoration deserve major credit, because it's a beautiful building that now houses many of RLS's works, his step-daughter's drawings and, what appear to be, excellent reproductions of the furniture and room layouts from RLS's time.
