We stayed at Playa el Aqua beach Hotel, in play el aqua in April 2005, and this is without doubt one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are great, the rooms are exceptionally clean and very bright and roomy, with high ceilings and two sets of patio doors in the king size rooms. The beach... more

No doubt about it- Playa El Agua is beautiful. The waves were mellow, the view superb and the hotel we stayed at ( Hotel Coral Caribe) was wonderfully landscaped and affordable. But the peddlers on the beach were unrelenting, and thrust constant crap in your face ALL DAY with rarely 2 minutes between. I have traveled to many beaches in... more
