Animal Ark is a must-see when you and your family are visiting Reno. Skip the zoo and head for the Ark. It is a beautifully maintained facility that houses disadvantaged wildlife that can no longer survive in the wild. You get up close and personal through glass viewing areas. This is a great place to go and take the family for an inexpensive outing. Animal Ark is an animal rescue reserve. There are all sorts of animals from Bears to Turtles, and my fave of the Ark is the Cheetas. (Though be sure to keep your 3yr and under a bit away from the fence, young children tend to... more
