| A must see. Most beautiful at night. Walk up the towers. That's right walk!! It is an incredibly long climb, and the stairs seem to never end, but the views are amazing. It really is worth it. |

7. Palacio Real de Madrid

| Extraordinary rooms. Give special attention to the furniture, many of the furnishings blend so well you don't notice how amazing they are. And like in any cultural building in Spain, always look up. The ceilings are always the most beautiful, and unfortunately they are very easy to miss. So always, always look up. |

| Be sure to buy at least one sword, and some jewelry (they make nice gifts, and they are not all horribly expensive). Also if you get the chance to see the craftsmen at work, take it! it is really amazing to see how they do it. |
