Beautiful restaurant, good price point, exciting food choices. The decor is clean and modern, but still warm. This is the best new restaurant in the valley!
They offer one of the most comprehensive tours here in the valley - they start you in the vineyards, move you to the processing areas, then the caves & at last a sit down with cheese pairings. This is a great deal for the quality of wine that they produce. This is also such a beautiful setting, nestled in the Stag's Leap wine growing region of the Napa Valley.
A very special restaurant here in the Napa Valley! This one is unique, with it's euro-asian-french fusion, it's a beautiful and happy marraige! The dining area is extremely romantic and oh so Napa Valley! Terra is a must for any foodie!
4. Del Dotto Wine Caves
Located in Napa - this is the best place for high end, big reds, most to be sampled directly out of the barrels. There is not only a whole lot of drinking going on here, but their tour is also quite educational. You will taste the same vintage Cab from four different oak barrels and they will all taste completely different. They school you in oak, which is unique for tours here in the valley. The entire tour is given in their beautiful old caves. These original caves are lit by candles and music plays throughout. These people have a passion for wine and for the Napa Valley lifestyle. This is the true essence of the Napa Valley - for serious wine drinkers only!
Not only a great modern building with interesting alternating exhibits, it sits on a beautiful lookout from above the town of Yountville. This is a good spot for a picnic lunch and to get away from all of the busy wineries in the warm months.
A beautiful winery with a great selection of fine Napa Valley wine. Their staff is very friendly and their back library, or VIP tasting room is beautiful! Their grounds are also quite photogenic!
For the BAR ONLY! Go here for a drink before or after dinner - this is one of the most romantic spots in the valley. They, of course, specialize in martinis - but ther wine list is also not too shabby. Check this place out if you haven't already!
Now doing wine tasting by appointment, which means that you won't have to fight your way through the tasting bar in the busier times of the year. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and un-intimidating about their exquisite wine. The building sits among vineyards, and it has a beautiful wrap around porch. They pair their wine with culinary delights and offer individualized service. If you love red wine, Duckhorn is a must while visiting the Napa Valley.
All of the same quality ingredients as their neighbor, Tra Vigne - but in a more relaxed, family, local's environment. This is a pizzeria for thin crust, wood fired pizza lovers! The very best pizza ever: Sun dried tomatoes, Spinach & Gorgonzola. Also, there is no corckage fee, so bring your own vino!
Pioneers in being lean, mean, green! Their grapes are all organic, their vehicles in the field are all run on bio diesel (corn oil), and their tasting room is solar powered. This is not the only reason why we love them so much - These guys specialize in their award winning pinot noirs. Their selection of wines is great, and you can smell the tasting room all the way from the parking lot. There is typically a chef working in the open kitchen in the tasting room. She works on appetizers to pair with your daily tastings, most of which melt in your mouth and scream for joy! Seriuosly, this is a foodies dream. They have beautiful organic gardens, an open kitchen, a great view, a beautiful patio, and devine wine!
