This was my first time staying at this hotel in this part of Tokyo since my favorite Imperial Hotel was full. I was on a business trip and didn't need luxury accommodations. The Meridien was a basic business hotel as others have mentioned. The breakfast buffet was probably the biggest disappointment for me. It was very limited with mainly American-style... more

I use to stay at this hotel in tokyo, it s a good place nice and polite staff, but always the same breakfast....tight rooms and mobile home style bathroom but good location near the shinagawa station, bounded to major locations in tokyo and the jr line .no fitness club but swimming pool open during the summer. more

Located just across the road from Shinagawa Station (far enough away though!) great service from all staff. Quick check in, very helpfull bell staff. Hotel room very clean and big enough, or normal for Japan. If staying for more then 2 nights you can opt to not have your room serviced and housekeeping give you 1000yen voucher for each night... more

in transit for another business trip, we were put in this large smoked filled lobby hotel. once again the lobby does not represent the hotel rooms. once on the floors, you will be able to tell its outdated-ness. we had a double room. it was nice and clean, just small and dated. internet was free which was the best part.... more

Stayed here for 3 nights on recent business trip. Although the hotel is efficient in typical Japanese style, the bathrooms are absolutely minute! I also found the staff in the breakfast area less than helpfull, not least of all due to poor English skills. On the positive side the hotel is conveniently close to Shinagawa station. more

Stayed in this hotel regularly on business, and these are the points I found noteworthy: Good: - Convenient location across Shinagawa station will get you anywhere in Tokyo metropolitan area within 30 minutes. - Has a limousine bus arriving & leaving for Narita right in front of the door. - Rooms have free high-speed internet - Convenience store downstairs open... more

This was our first time in Tokyo for our honeymoon and this hotel was everything we did not ask for or want for our stay. While it was across the street from Shinagawa station, there was not much around the hotel except for office buildings. As such, the nightlife and commercial area we were seeking was nonexistent and about a... more

I stayed with my girlfriend for a week in this hotel. It is a very 70s/80s hotel, kind of old for Tokyo, but the rooms are clean and confortable, kind of small, but its OK. The staff is extremely kind and always trying hard to help you. Breakfast is great and the little lagoon around the buffet is very beautiful.... more

I stayed at the Le Meridien Pacific in Jan 05 as part of a go-today.com package. Excellent value! Was a short walk to the JR Yamanote line. Was not expecting Park Hyatt levels of luxury (given the price); so I think it was a fantastic value. The concierge, in particular, was exceptional. A previous review noted that the concierge is... more

My tour group stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were very helpful and courteous (most japanese people are). The hotel was located across the street from the shinagawa train station and just a few stops from shibuya. There were many eating places around the hotel. The room was a standard japanese room. It was quiet and clean... more
