The Villas Vallarta has the potential to be a great hotel, with large suites instead of the standard 1-2 bed hotel, these units are about the size of a one-bedroom apartment with very large balconies. Spent 19th to 26th April. It's rated a 2-star, so don't expect 4* luxury. Rooms are large and comfortable, yet dated. Our room was a studio kitchenette. Bring your own hairdryer. We stayed at Villas Vallarta from April 9-16, 2008. The rooms were clean and staff was great. We had two minor issues with noise. First one was our room was right above the Gold's Gym.
