i have stayed here twice. i am not very impressed. the service is sooo slow. they use old fashioned credit card machines where they copy your card. it takes FOREVER to check in and check out. then they leave your credit card copies (with full card number) up on the reception desk where anyone could come could come by and... more

We went to Guadalajara for a wedding, and we stayed one weekend. The hotel is very old, old decor, old carpets, old everything! The elevator very very slow, the rooms average, the staff helpful. The better thing is te location, but for "fiesta americana" I expected more.... more

Spent 5 nights at this hotel while visiting a GDL company location. This hotel is not located in downtown GDL but is about a 10 minute cab ride. Nonetheless, there is a Starbucks, a Burger King and several other busineesses accross the street. Check in was not quick as the check in girl seemed to be rather new or she... more

We arrived during the off season to try & book a room here on the recommendation of a friend living in the area. We should have just walked away when they refused to book a room for us at the front desk & instead made us use a phone in the lobby to book it. I've never experienced that before... more

A friend and I stayed at this hotel and both of us were impressed. We got a room on the 14th floor (Executive Level). It's a beautiful hotel in a great location, close to downtown and the airport, but in a nice area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was clean, with tasteful decor and the beds... more

We travel to Guadalajara periodically for shopping, restaurants and to attend performances of the Jalisco Filharmonica. We chose the Fiesta Americana because we wanted a nice hotel in a good location, not too far from downtown (but not right downtown) and within walking distance of some good restaurants. We LIKED: 1) the bed (very comfortable). We had a King room.... more

We have just returned from a weekend (we went to the FIL, International Book Fair) at the Fiesta Americana Guadalajara. The hotel is great and the service is above average. Hotel people is very friendly. I think it is worth the price (about 155 dlls per night). The parking fee is very cheap (3 dlls per night!!). Overall I would... more

I've stayed at this hotel at least twenty times over last 10 years on airline layovers and once on family vacation. The neighborhood is safe and short cab ride or walking distance to many good restaurants, movie theater(english w/spanish subtitles),shopping mall. All rooms have been remodeled over last year or two, especially recommend Fiesta floors, 10-12 I think. The only... more

I returned to Guadalajara, after being there some 20 years ago. I had then been at the Fiesta Americana when it opened in 1985. What a treat. It still remains as excellent as then. The service and employees where always there to help. We where assgined to a room in the 10th Floor, called the Fiesta Club. Rooms are clean,... more

I stayed at the Fiesta Americana a few years ago with my wife and two kids (ages 4 & 5), The hotel was pretty "corporate", it felt simalr to a Hilton in the US. Overall, it worked out fine, but was not terribly exciting. more
