This hotel was amazing. Being in such a large city where I didn't speak Spanish, this hotel made me feel very comfortable. The staff are ultra friendly and accomadating. They are great with directions and suggestions for restaurants and tourist-y locations. Some staff speak fairly good English which helps with directions. The hotel restaurant is a great place to eat... more

I booked a room at this hotel upon reading positive reviews on this page. We visited to tour the city for two days. When we arrived, we were told that only smoking rooms were available. We protested, and were shown a non- smoking room after a few minutes. We were told we had a standard room, and the size was... more

My husband and I stayed here in July for 5 nights. The hotel is approx 25 minutes from the main airport, and around US$24 by taxi to get to. We arrived and we able to check-in very quickly and easily and were shown to our room. We booked a normal room (not the petite room) and it was still very... more

Stayed at the Emporio May 29 to June 3, 2008 - well appointed rooms though a bit small - good location - good restaurant with reasonable prices (popular brunch buffet on Saturday!) with live music even at breakfast; comfortable bed with good linens - nice toiletries in bathroom; good value and safe location more

I stayed in this hotel during a business trip to Mexico City. There is a nice little cafe with about 8 tables inside the lobby of the hotel. This is a good place to have a warm or a cold drink. The lobby staff is very courteous and ready to help. The rooms have modern, well-kept furniture. The linen was... more

The room was VERY small. And we had booked a standard room, not the cheaper petit room. Otherwise, the hotel is wonderful the little space in the room is very well used, bathroom is beautiful, TV huge, amenities are fabulous. Unless you need big rooms, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is great for visiting Mexico City. more

When I decided with only 2 weeks notice to go to Mexico City, I realized I had no idea how to pick or narrow down my choice of hotel for such a big city. So, I emailed an acquaintance whom I had made friends with in Isla Mujeres and he recommended the hotel to me. It was a FABULOUS recommendation... more
