The Camino Real deserves its reputation as a great historic hotel. The public areas and the courtyards are really lovely. I particularly liked the pool area, although the pool itself is shallow the lush garden around it is beautiful. If you do go get an interior room. We stayed in an exterior room on the ground floor.
