This is not a great place. We arrived in town late and this was the only hotel with a room on the island. The price is wonderful ($40 US during holidays), but the throng of drinkers wearing bed sheets for a toga party and late night partiers was not. Juat got back from Isla Mujeres,stayed,as always, at the Vistlmar. I had a great time, I made some new friends, did a little fishing, and just relaxed. The food, the people, the weather, all just to great. I wish I could have stayed longer but it was getting close to Christmas. I wasn't gone more than a couple of days... more

i love this place...if you think expensive means awesome....then your wrong, becauswe this places beats any other place in mexico no matter the amount of money you spend....it isnt about being in an awesome hotel though, because u arent always going to be there..your gonna be outside.
