Stayed at the Riu Santa Fe from Sept. 27 to Oct. 4, 2008. The property was amazing...one of the biggest Riu's in the world with the 902 rooms. Amazing views..always clean! I have stayed at a few Riu's incl. D.R. , Mayan Riviera & Cuba. Service here was amazing...I called from the room for an extra pillow and 5 min... more

i read all the reviews before i left and should have known better, BUT i opted on saving "very few" bucks and hoped that those were people just hard to please...............NOT. FYI:first and most important --- when they tell you to not drink the tap water, that means don't even FORGET and accicently rinse your toothbrush once!!! sever stomach cramps... more

We just returned from the Riu Sante Fe on October 4th, 2008. Our group stayed for seven nights and were very satisfied! The food was outstanding! The buffets had just about anything you wanted. We also ate at the Steak, Italian, Mexican, and Asian restaurants. No problems getting a reservation. We did go into town one night and ate at... more

My new Bride and I Honeymooned at the Riu Santa Fe from Sept 21 thru Sept 27. We booked thru American Airlines Vacations and it was AWESOME!!! They made arrangements for us to meet up with Olympus tours which escorted us and 2 other couples to the Riu Sante Fe in appx 35 minutes, no other stops. Also believe what... more

After an extremely long and tiring plane trip, me and my wife were glad to get to the Riu. Overall we really enjoyed our 5 day visit and we were sad to leave. The check-in was uneventful, but was a little peeved that no one asked to take our bags - maybe it was late. The main entrance is quite... more

I had read the reviews and really couldn't tell if we would like the Riu. We made the right choice and spent only 3 of our 7 days at the Santa Fe. (4 remaining days at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset which was fabulous) Here's the deal. To me the hotel was like a giant Embassy Suites. That's not bad but... more

We stayed at the Riu Sante Fe Sept. 20-26, 2008. The resort is new, the grounds are huge and well taken care of, the rooms are clean, there is a mini-fridge in the room, with water beer & soft drinks, so feel free to drink as you please, the staff replenish all of the drinks every day, we found it... more
