I stayed @ the International on business. They have finished their renovations now and the suites are lovely. Every room you will book is huge, as the hotel used to be an apartment building. The look is modern and clean. I had stayed in an old room last year and the difference is amazing. I was a little weary staying... more

We had booked and prepaid for three nights at this hotel in mid September 08. The facilities and space in our suite were excellent and were just what we wanted to unwind in after two long days on the train. On returning to our room on the second day we were disconcerted to discover that our electronic door keys no... more

We stayed for three nights at the end of 10 days in the Canadian Rockies. We had a very comfortable suite and were well looked after - all the staff were very helpful. The hotel was well placed for 'down town' but they could do more to advertise the covered walkways. We discovered these (called +15) on our first full... more

We stayed here as part of a fly drive this summer. I was not expecting great things after reading some of the reviews but was quite pleasantly surprised. We arrived early to book in and the room was ready so we went straight up. Loved the suite, it was huge!! Comfortable beds but a slightly snug bathroom!! The restaurant was... more

This hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious and well decorated and serviced. The location is convenient to the Calgary tower and riverside. The problem is the hotel dining. The restaurant was not open on a Saturday night so we had to eat in the lounge. There was only one person tending bar and waiting on dinners. Needless to... more

Thru Expeida, I had a great deal. I stayed on 22nd floor and then moved to 27th floor next day. They shut down room heater during the summer. I thought the heater was broken, and that is why I moved to the other room. So ask for a space heater if it gets cold at night. Usually you are OK,... more

We stayed here for 4 nights to attend the Calgary Stampede. Had a great studio suite (#1707) with plenty of space--living/dining/kitchen (microwave, refrigerator) combination (with balcony) and separate bedroom with king size bed. Decorated in soothing neutrals. Comfortable sofa and chairs; 2 LCD TVs (one in living area, other in bedroom). Besides a coffee maker, there was a electric tea... more

We liked the spacious suite, the king size bed, and the location however we were concerned about the drinking glasses that are not sanitized and wrapped to protect from undesirable germs and to protect against the spreading of disease. Especially in a hotel situation with all kinds of people coming from all over the world it is imperative to have... more

As a solo traveller, I was taken aback to find that I had a 2 bedroom suite, complete with kitchen facilities, dining table, lounge area. Two huge plasma TV screens, one in the lounge and one in the main bedroom. Attractive modern bathroom. Two bathrobes in the wardrobe, ironing and hairdrying facilities. Decor less than inspiring, but with all that... more

I stayed at this hotel as part of a Rocky Mountaineer Vacation and it was listed as one of their "popular" (read as, lower-end) hotels, and the reviews I'd seen here left me expecting the worst. The lobby is small and shows its age, and the restaurant had some of the most god-awful slow service I encountered on the entire... more
