The hotel is located in downtown and from there you can walk to most of Vancouver's attractions and restaurants. We arrived at 16h30 and our room was not ready yet (!). The lobby is boring and doesn't feel like a 5 star place. But the rooms are very good and their signature bed is also great. We had a club... more

I booked the room through Priceline after an Alaskan cruise. The hotel was very nice. We had a wonderful view overlooking the Fairmount and the city. The location is perfect. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the lovely city of Vancouver. more

Arrived late on July, 25 2008 for a 3 night stay only to find that they did not have the type of room we had reserved though Vancouver Tourism. We had booked a non smoking room for three people with 2 double beds. They had nothing like that available, they could give us a smoking room or a room with... more

This was our first stay at this hotel. The room was very nice. It was on the 27th floor and featured a nice peek-a-boo view of the harbor. The location is great. We're originally from Vancouver and know the spot well. Within steps to good shopping on Robson and Granville and within reasonable distance to nice scenic places such as... more

Of my 3 week holiday tour through the US and Canada, the Hyatt Vancouver was probably the nicest hotel I stayed in. It's located right in the centre of the city, with all the shops and restaurants you could wish for within easy reach. Rooms are well decorated in a modern style, with such a nice desk + chair that... more

I stayed at the Hyatt from July 15th thru 27th. From the 15th thru the 20th I was there on Convention business and the 20th thru the 27th on Gov't business combined with some pleasure. I have never been more disappointed in a Hyatt. Upon check in, my room wasn't ready. After three hours it still wasn't ready. It took... more

It's a bit confusing to me how there can be so many positive reviews of this hotel along the lines of "best Hyatt ever." I stayed in a suite for three nights. The hotel in general is showing signs of age and is in desperate need of a renovation. The carpet in my room was noticeably worn in various places,... more

We walked to Stanley Park, Granville Market, Robson Street and waterfront is very short walk, and all the other places we visited. The concierge was very helpful. The staff at the front desk, however, was unfriendly. They also have a $15/day internet charge which seems a little strange since Hardee's has free wireless. It was in a good location and the room was pretty nice. more

This was a nice, clean hotel in a great location. It was an easy walk to Robson Street for shopping and dining and a nice walk to Stanley Park. The staff was very friendly and the concierge was helpful with all of our questions. My only complaint about this hotel is the overly expensive cost for parking. Other than that... more
