This hotel is owned and operated by the Bates Motel with a staff that has apparently been trained in the tradition of the Carol Burnett character Mrs. Wiggins. What a joke! Orbitz rated this hotel a top rated hotel. IT MAYBE was a top rated HOTEL ( in 1975!) Stains in the carpets and on the walls. MY SHOWER HAS MILDEW! The photos of the view on the website...were obviously taken from the more posh hotel across the street (Fallview Resort Hotel). There are trees in front of the falls and we only saw about 1/8 th of the falls. Still not a bad view but not what is advertised. Stayed at the Fallsview Plaza Hotel and am so disappointed. Check in was bumpy - staff friendly, however extremely unprofessional, both in uniform standards and general manner.
