Very good hotel in a convenient location for Canadian government buildings and major tourist sites. Would stay there again on a return visit. more
We stayed at the Ottawa Marriott over the Victoria Day Long weekend and during the Tulip Festival. The hotel though showing its age is clean and well-kept. Parking is underground and it costs $16.00 overnight. However, it increases to $19.00 if you want in and out privileges. There's an elevator that leads you up to the lobby. Note that the... more
As everyone says the rooms are clean and comfortable but some of the staff I dealt with had little or no customer service skills. What made it worst is that it was the long weekend with very litlle else available; and this they were aware of. Some staff were down right rude and others could not seem to get thing... more
Got a great rate through Priceline. My stay was trouble free and very enjoyable. The hotel is a good walk from most downtown attractions and has easy access to local transit routes. A shuttle stop for the casino across the river is a block or two away from the hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Really felt... more

Gt the room bidding on Priceline $80 The place is not up to Marriott s standards. The place has seen better days and the staff is bad. I do not have any better choices in Ottawa, just understand what you are getting with this place. more
The key to the Marriott in Ottawa is its location for tourism. I can't say for business as I was there sightseeing. The hotel itself is very much acceptable yet a bit below the standard of many other Marriott hotels. The main reason is the hotel is dated and has had too much foot traffic - the result of its... more
I stayed for three nights in April 2008. Since I am a Marriott Gold Awards member, I stayed on the 25th floor. The room was spacious and sparkling clean, as is to be expected from this chain. The concierge lounge was very nice with stunning views of Parliament Hill and a basic breakfast is available from Monday to Friday. I... more
We got a great rate on our night's stay here in March through priceline, and when we checked in we given a room with two doubles. Being a couple and all, I asked if we would be able to have a room with a king bed. They gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. The rack... more
