They gave us a room on the 2nd floor. Very noisy, next to conference rooms. Can hear street noises. Carpet dirty, furnitures old. No wireless internet as advertised. Buffet breakfast was in the cafe, other restos closed. Cafe cannot handle the buffet. 1 server, food constantly running out. Felt ripped off. more

Blood splatter patterns on walls, non operational a/c, crumbling foundation, rats in ceiling, valets taking upwards of an hour to retrieve vehicle, hotel staff on strike... While we were there, there seemed to be some industrial action by hotel workers in Montreal. All the staff were wearing union t-shirts. The staff is rude. When we asked information about the Starwood reward program at the front desk, they knew nothing about it and told us to call an 800 number.
