This is definitely an upper-end property, with especially well-styled public areas (e.g. museum artifacts and the like tastefully displayed). Our deluxe suite was big enough, with new flat-screen TV, Bose music system, an ample number of hangers in the closet, large jacuzzi, plenty of towels, a comfortable bed, with nice extra touches (e.g. complimentary slippers) plus a pleasant view of... more

This hotel is incredible; the best in the city and maybe even in the province. It is located in the heart of the Vieux-Port (city centre). The rooms are gorgeous! The views are gorgeous! Everything is gorgeous! This place is 10000x better than the Chateau Frontenac. The hotel's restaurant is pretty good too. A word of advice, I've stayed here... more

Lots of pluses from the moment we arrived. Great location in the lower old town. Friendly helpful staff, large comfortable rooms with a lots of attention to detail like plenty of counter space and excellent lighting in bathroom, spacious sitting area, etc. A minor clitch did occur, but staff and management were very quick to correct and make up for... more

Bike Riders Tours books this hotel for the last two nights of its Quebec cycling trips. Backroads does too. I also saw a Bike Vermont van as I was leaving. We are all lucky that they indulge us this way. I would describe the hotel as "rustically hip." It is part of the Relaix & Chateaux hotels and is Canada's... more

We loved everything about this hotel, and I won't repeat what's been said over and over, but I would like to describe the historical suite we stayed in as there was little information posted on these suites. In the old part of the hotel, this suite had the charm and comfort of a pied a terre, rather than a hotel... more

We booked a suite at this lovely hotel and it was simply amazing from the moment we walked thru the door. The service was very professional, and the ambience was quite contemporary, but not cold. The suite was enormous with a beautiful, blue tiled bathroom. The shower and tub were separate which is always desirable. The mattress was comfortable and had a... more

Don't even think of staying anywhere else in Quebec City. This place is phenomenal -- the rooms are huge with great amenities, the front desk staff and the valet are the nicest people ever, the food is great and the location can't be beat. It's a two minute walk to the funicular and the Upper Town. All the shops and... more

From the moment that you arrive and the doormen(plural) with communication devices to the front desk and the valet open the specially hand crafted door handles for you to gain entrance, your sophisticated senses will appreciate the slate floor, recessed floor lighting and the amazing artifacts displayed in cases about the foyer. The hospitality is nothing short of totally spectacular.... more

We stayed at the auberge June 13 to June 16, 2008 - and since we left I actually miss it!! The hotel itself is beautiful, artifacts and history all over, but unobtrusive - makes it cosy and interesting all at once. Ate at the cafe only, and the food was excellent - the drinks were imaginative and exotic. But what... more

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at the Auberge St-Antoine. It was quite an experience. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The ambience was wonderful. The gym was relaxing and clean with equipment in good condition. Our experience at the restaurant Panache was every bit as wonderful as promised in the advertisement; our compliments to Chef Blais and... more
