This was one of the best, if not the best B & Bs I've ever stayed in. I can't think of anything that was at fault. Everything was absolutely top class, from the comforatble and beautifully decorated room to the generous and tasty breakfast and not forgetting the friendly owners. i would really recommend this place to anyone coming to... more

I stayed at Killead Lodge around the middle of August for one night during a business trip. My room was large, clean and nicely furnished and decorated. The shower-room was also clean and well appointed. The owners were due to go on holiday early the next morning, so I only met Ray, who was friendly and helpful, offering to put... more

My daughter stayed here in August, Hilary and Ray could not have been more welcoming. Her every need was taken care of, and she was treated more like one of the family than a guest. She particularly loved her themed room and the fabulous food, which was cooked to her preference. The guest lounge downstairs catered for every need from... more

It was really the best B&B we stayed in the whole of Ireland. I was in Ireland some years ago and B&Bs were excellent. However, Ireland has changed a lot and B&Bs too but the Killead Lodge had exactly what I expected of an Irish B&B. Room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was also excellent. Great location within... more

Our time at Killead will always be remembered as a place where we felt very welcomed by Ray and Hiliary. The rooms were spacious and really well done out. Breakfasts were special and filling. Free WiFi in rooms was a bonus. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Our hosts were really helpful in the advice they gave... more

My husband, my brother-in-law and I stayed for one night only at the beginning of the month and we were very impressed. The house is absolutely wonderful and the rooms seem brand new: quite big, clean, pretty, modern, etc. The breakfast is awesome (3 kinds of bread!) and the hosts are great. The only down part is that the B&B... more

We just returned from a 3 week tour of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland. The Killead Lodge was one of our favourite B&Bs during our vacation. Ray and Hiliary made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfasts and there was always plenty to eat. Homemade jams where an added special touch. A... more

If you are looking for a clean and welcoming place to stay with warm and helpful hosts this is the B&B for you. Ray and Hilary made us feel at home, and their recommendations on local restaurants and tour operators in Belfast were very helpful. We passed through Belfast on the last leg of our self-drive journey through the Irish... more

Three women from Oregon stayed at Killead for three nights in March. The Lodge was impeccably clean. Our hosts were wonderfully friendly, without being intrusive, and extremely helpful. The Lodge is very close to the Belfast Intl Airport, yet the sound of planes never disturbed our sleep. Beautiful landscaping and breakfast solarium, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor cats peeking... more
