Stayed here 2 nights the 7th and 8th October 2008 during a visit for the World Grand Prix darts at the Citywest hotel.... Arrived an hour before check-in,was not a problem, greeted at reception by the gorgeous friendly receptionist. Room was great, spotless fixtures and fittings, flat screen tv on wall, beds comfy with clean sheets, bathroom spotless with clean towels and the... more

I have stayed in Blooms many times in the past number of years. I'm sorry to say that, although it remains a reasonably cheap alternative in Dublin city centre, its standards have been steadily declining for some time. The rooms are in bad need of upgrade, although clean enough. The hotel seems to cater mostly for stag/hen nights parties (very... more

I booked this hotel online because of the convenient location, thinking that being a 3 star it should meet the standards I was looking for. I was wrong. I arrived around 11am Monday and the receptionist told me that the room wasn’t ready yet. She checked me in, took my CC details and told me they would keep my baggage... more

Stayed at this hotel with some friends this weekend. Firstly the receptionist we met on arrival was extremely rude and unwelcoming and while my friends and I discussed our method of payment, she was talking over us and interupting our conversation, when we paid for our rooms (which were grossly overpriced) she then demanded another €100.00 deposit for any "extras".... more

Stayed in the Blooms Hotel in August 2008. Budget hotel with rooms that need upgrading. If you are in Dublin to party and pub crawl, this is the hotel for you as it is in the centre of Temple Bar. Very noisy on the weekends with people leaving the pubs around 3-4am. If you prefer peace and quiet, either chose... more

When we arrived at the hotel we went straight to our room as it was ready, we were on the scond floor in a refurbished room, it was clean and all that we needed. I was worried about the noise from the club downstairs but we didnt hear a peep, just a few people on the streets outside when the... more

Myself and my boyfriend booked a weekend away (2nights) to Dublin and I choose Blooms Hotel based on the website appearance - but looks can be deceiving. The Hotel was booked about a month in advance and the lady who took the booking called our details back to us over the phone to ensure they were correct - no problems!... more

i have stayed at this hotel several times with my mum who is disabled and we could never fault the staff, the rooms or the service, granted there is a little noise when club m is closing but nothing major, the noise is to be expected especially as the hotel is in temple bar the heart of the night life.... more
