We stayed in a room out the back in the purpose built block. The room was small but clean and the bathroom was lovely - the shower was amazing. The only mirror was in the bathroom so impossible to dry your hair with no mirror. Breakfast was served in a dining room that was too small - we had to... more

My wife and I stayed at the Glen Guesthouse for 2 nights. Good value for the money for a centrally located hotel. Something to keep in mind: 1.Rooms are not equipped with the following items- alarm clocks, hairdryers and irons, because staff kept losing them to previous guests. But they may have them at the front desk. However, rooms are... more

We arrived on Friday for a long weekend, having read the reviews our expections were pretty neutral, not expecting the earth but not expecting dire straits either. If you are looking for budget accomdation with no frills then this is your place. The bed was uncomfortable but we were given an extra duvet for under the sheet when asked. Bathroom... more

We booked it and thought it was good value for money THEN read the reviews and wished we hadn't. HOWEVER we were pleasantly surprised, we stayed in the back block and the room was fine, it was cleaned and tidied every day we were there, towels changed, bedding made, tea restocked. The room wasn't the largest but the was room... more

We have just come back from a short stay in Dublin and all I can say about this guest house is that it was OK. We stayed in the new block at the rear of the building which is still in the process of being built. I am not convinced that the fire alarms were working properly as there were... more

The last time I stayed in Dublin, it was in a wonderful B&B that was about 15 minutes bus ride from the city centre. This time around, I wanted somewhere centrally located. The Glen Guesthouse is a 5-minute walk from the city centre and has pretty nice views of the city from the 5th floor bedroom windows. But that is... more

We had a comfortable room in the newly built section of the accommodation. The room was good & the shower was fantastic in a nice, spacious bathroom. However there was no tea tray & we had to ask at reception to be provided with one. Hair dryers are not provided in the rooms & the first one they gave us... more

Last week, my girlfriend and I stayed at Glen Guesthouse for two nights. Having read some other reviews about this place we were positively surprised. First of all, the location is good. The central bus station and Connolly Train Station are both just around the corner, and all sights in Dublin City Center are within walking distance (O'Connell street around... more

It is on lower granier street which is on the north side of the river liffey and is ideal! Breafast was good, full irish selection of cereal, orange juice and service... more
