The reviews of this hotel seem very mixed and it is not entirely clear if they all refer to the same property, I am a bit puzzled about why the owner of the Hotel Theatre should be responding to a poor review, does he own the Malesherbes as well? What is certain is that it is nowhere near a Metro... more

I read all the reviews, and thought we were making the right choice by choosing a "boutique" hotel - how disappointed we were. We paid for a "premium" suite - I have stayed in better backpacker accommodation. Pictures can be very deceptive. The rooms are tiny, dated and have no air-conditioning. Breakfast was in a basement cellar, and I agree... more

After having read the reviews of the hotel I decided to book for 8 days - 4 days of holiday with my girlfriend and 4 days of work. The Hotel seemed to be very nice when you read the reviews. However, our experience of the hotel is very opposite to some of the previous reviews – I had to check... more

I read the review you have just posted with a particular attention. I am really sorry about your feeling and about what happened .Please accept my apologies. I am not going to justify what is not acceptable....but just tell you that the receptionnist you met was just starting his job. We pay daily a paramount importance to the service. I...

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel, and booked a room with a double bed for 1 person. The bathroom was really clean and room was charming. The double bed was in fact 2 single beds squeezed together (common practice in Europe). It was quite nice, staff is really friendly, Internet not too expensive but not really accomodating when you... more

Having read the other reviews on this site, I was expecting something different. I have traveled extensively and think my expectations for budget hotels are quite reasonable. With this hotel, expect to get what you pay for. My room was not that clean, reeked of cigarettes and the "kitchenette" was basically a closet with a mini-fridge and a sink. The... more

we found this hotel while surfing on internet... good shot 1 the rooms are larger than the average, you can have a mini kitchen and unlimited calling package. you have the impression to enter an old house with charming rooms. moreover the staff is helpful and the location is top! we loved the Parc Monceau more

Have been traveling to paris frequently and wanted the flexibility of my own kitchen for breakfast and snacks (i buy bread and croissant at the bakery for the following morning), especially over extended stays. Rooms are big, clean and quiet. no frills but better than expected and worth the money. more

I just returned from a one-week vacation in Paris and stayed at the Residence Malesherbes, recommended to me by Parisian friend. I have nothing to say but that was my best stay in a Paris hotel ever: staff was friendly, professional, attentive and helpful, rooms are clean and bedding comfortable, with an "air de je ne sais quoi" typical to... more
