we were on a driving holiday from England armed with books on the best luxury hotels in France. We drove down intending to make it to St Tropez but got stuck in traffic for hours on the way down and could not stomach the queues on the last stretch into St Tropez so pulled up at Le Beauvallon. Having done... more

Went there for a wedding and was looking forward to staying in a classy hotel. What they actually have is a hotel with a few good bits and a lot of bad bits. Firstly, it is in the middle of nowhere. If you want to get the boat to St Tropez you have to pray that there isn't any weather... more

The Beauvallon is without doubt an amazing hotel. If you are expecting a five star chain style hotel then this is not the hotel for you. The beauvallon makes up for any shortfalls in services with complete and unadulterated beauty and charm and of course unbeatable location. The beachclub is what draws my husband and i back every year and... more

A beautifull hotel with a great view across StTropez bay. That's where the positive's end. Dreadfull service, in a 11 night stay we only had one or two meals that were not either very slow or something was forgotten or wrong. Eg one night I was served un cooked beef, after waiting 15 minutes for a waiter to appear I... more

We thoroghly agree with the points made by the previouscommentator..KKuwait 8. Other points to note...no fire alarm testing all the time we stayed and we understand there has NEVER been a fire drill for the staff or clients...does the local authority know? Surely? The reception staff were surly and unfriendly and the price of food was just one big rip... more

Very expensive and over-rated for what we got, staff not friendly. The valet parking was nice, check-in took a long time. we had booked 2 adjoining rooms, 1 for young children - which was supposed to be done out in children;s bed sheets, etc., disappointing. Upon entering the rooms, they were stuffy, too hot and smelled of over powering flowery, pungent... more

I really dont understand the bad reviews of this hotel. I sometimes wonder what our friends across the pond expect!!. This is one very understated classy establishment. The public rooms are superb the pool divine and the staff attentive yet unobtrusive. The terrace at night is one of the most if not the most wonderful areas to sit and relax... more

The hotel looks good from the front but the rear of the hotel looked like a third rate town..unmade roads..washing hanging out..poorly kept gardens to the rear. This was reflected in the quality of service in the hotel itself. .poorly cooked food..very amateur quality of service with untrained staff. One had the feeling that we were staying in someone s... more

This is a jewel set in the Cote d'Azur and a five star hotel exemplar. It is ideal for a little end of season self indulgent pampering when the madding crowds have departed the Riviera, the weather is not too hot and prices have come down from the stratosphere. And even if there is a chill in the air, the... more

This hotel is about as close as it can be! My wife, my 5-year old daughter and I stayed and in this hotel for a week in Mid June and it was a stay we will remember very fondly for as long as we live. The hotel itsself is pure class, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff is... more
