This lovely, plush hotel is a world away from the standardized comfort of luxury chain hotels. It is privately owned, so they spare no effort to pamper guests with personalized service. Just returned from Munich and moved from the Bayerischerhof, due to noisy reinovations, to the Konigshof after extensive comparison with Mandarin and Kempinski. The Konigshof is situated mid-way between the main train station (hauptbahnhof) and the Marienplatz. It is a l0 minute walk either way and perfectly situated for anything.
