I stayed at this hotel during the Frankfurt Book Fair. Although it was quite pricey during the time, I had no problems with the hotel. The double room was quite a nice size, and a bigger room than I would expect for Europe. The shower was sort of odd with the half shower door, but you get used to it.... more

I just returned from a one-night stay at the Memphis hotel. The hotel was one of the worst value for money hotels in the city. Although centrally located, the hotel is very close to the city's red-light district and is located in a street rich in ethnic shops and restanrants. Rooms are small and not very clean - the garbage... more

The best thing about this hotel is the location, within walking distance of the main rail station and also ideally placed to get into the centre of town. We went there for the Christmas markets and this was a 10 minute walk away. We had read that it was near the red light district but it is in fact a... more

I had just been to Munich where I stayed in a lovely hotel and was in Frankfurt to work the next day, so this was a one night experience only. I am happy it was really, photographs may look okay but there is a strangely depressing atmosphere in the hotel. The rooms look like they have been refurnished in the... more

I have stayed at the Memphis a couple of times both in single and double rooms. Whilst the single room was quite small, the double room was a reasonable size compared to other hotels in a similar price-range. The rooms are spotlessly clean and reasonably new with mini-bar, cable tv, comfortable beds with nice linen and breakfast included. The staff... more

I stayed at the Memphis Hotel for two nights. The hotel is very modern, the rooms were basic, but VERY clean and comfortable. For the money I paid to stay here I was pleasently suprised. My rate included breakfast which is served between 7am - 11am. Typical contintenal style, cereals, selection of breads, meats, fruit and pastries. I found the... more

The Memphis is a good price (especially at weekends when rates are lower). It is close to the main train station, underground and S-Bahn, and some tram routes stop right outside the property (great on rainy days!). The rooms were larger than other hotels in the same price range and the beds were confortable. The rooms were clean. The rate... more

We stayed here our first night in Germany and picked it as it was so close to the train station (about 3 blocks). A big priority for me is the cleanliness of a hotel and the rooms were not only big but very clean. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable rate and the staff were very friendly. I would... more

Pleasant small hotel. Key word is small. Close to the main train station, even closer to the U-bahn. On the plus side: clean, quiet, no-smoking rule was enforced in the breakfast room, fresh modern decor, everything in working order. Some negatives: limited breakfast selection, tiny bathroom, room very small, window barely opened. Thank goodness for the plug-in fan. Precious few... more

We (50 year old couple) stayed at the Memphis Hotel in Frankfurt am Main for 4 nights. We were very satisfied. Very clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, quiet, front desk staff pleasant, and a great breakfast included. The breakfast consisted of juice, tea, herbal tea, or coffee, delicious fresh fruit salad, museli, yogurt, fresh rolls etc., meats, cheeses, fish, hard... more
