This hotel is a gem in Madrid. It is suitable to business travellers or turists. Not the best option for a family with kids. It offers a luxury accomodation convenient to shopping ( right next to a El Corte Ingles store) and the downtown area at a walking distance ( 30 minutes) or via underground (Arguelles station) near the hotel.... more

Stayed at the Husa Princesa for 4 nights on a business/leisure trip. Overall, it was a clean and good quality hotel in a good location - more positive stuff later, after I've got my main gripe out of the way. Previous reviewers have commented on the welcome they have got from the reception desk staff, and I've never placed much... more

This hotel is very well located on Princesa Street. Very near to the metro station Arguelles (on line 3) just up the street. The facilities at the hotel are great for a city centre hotel and the rooms were very comfortable and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Madrid. more

Stayed here May 08. Location is extremely good - away from the touristy spots yet close enough to the centre of action, subway and a big supermarket right beside the hotel, 5min walk to the double-deckle hop-on-hop-off bus, complimentary hotel pickup from all day tour operators. However, there is no good restaurant within 50m radius - fast food ftw! Staff... more

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for 2 days in club rooms, and what disappointed us most was the bed, which was 2*1.5 metars big (small). This was truly a problem because of my proportions. This is not a bed for 5 stars hotel. The good thing was the position of the hotel, you can go by foot... more

We booked the Husa Princesa for a long weekend trip to Madrid for our family of 5. Parents, 2 University students, one teenager. The rooms were lovely, and quiet - double glazing and with an inner door to stop noise from the corridor. Chose the hotel partly for the pool, but never even bothered to go and look at it.... more

I travelled to Madrid on 31st March for 3 nights, we took our 6 month old baby with us, I must say that Madrid is not a child friendly city, you could never find a baby chair anywhere, and baby changing facilities are only in El Corte Ingles, the department store! And people expect you to give them way with... more

Beware this hotel ripping you off on exchange rates when you check out. I asked for my credit card charges to be in Euros so my bank will convert at their rate to my home currency. notwithstanding the request the hotel processed in my home currency and the conversion included a fee of 2.5%! I stay here regularly because the... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Husa Princesa as we attended a conference in Madrid. There were 4 old gentlemen at the Front desk upon arrival and no other guests but still they did not look at us or greet us. After a long while someone said "Just a moment" . These people should not work in a hotel. The... more

Nice Hotel, good facilities. Located in shopping district. Room was spacious, clean and kept well. Only downside was that you have to call the concierge to open the windows in your room. This is ok if the concierge decides to show up!! Sometimes left waiting for up to an hour. Overall though it is a lovely Hotel. more
