I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the train station and it was a good choice for that. It was ok to leave our luggage downstairs before the room was ready, and on our departure. We had a most enjoyable two nite stay at Ca San Giorgio. It is located within easy walking distance of the train station and is in a non-touristy area. This was a lovely place to stay, easily accessible on foot to the train station/Piazzale Roma which in Venice with all the maze of streets is a big plus! Just returned from a lovely visit here with my 2 daughters. Its a beautiful place in a quiet part of Venice away from all the noise and touristy areas. we stayed in the top room, the "Altana" which has its own rooftop terrace. I highly recommend it. more
