The hotel was excellent and maintained to a very high standard with very helpful staff. The breakfast was a continental style buffet with a very wide range of food offered, although there is no hot food so if you are after bacon and eggs you are in the wrong hotel! The room was a nice size and was cleaned perfectly... more

This was the second hotel we stayed at during a 10-day tour of Italy. We found this hotel to be gorgeous and charming. Situated just a few minutes from the historic city center, this hotel proved a relaxing place to sepnd two nights. The rooms are roomy, well appointed and very attractive. Tile floors, rich stained wood trim and spacious... more

N.R. Antrim, Jan. 2008. We stayed here for two weeks for less than it would have cost us for a camp site. This is a great location if you want a Hotel away from the constant rumble of noise you get in a city centre Hotel. A car is a definite advantage although the buses do run regularly just 50... more

We stayed at this hotel for a week from 22nd September. We chose this hotel as we thought it would be a quiet haven after a hard day's sightseeing and were told it had restaurants near-by, a delightful pool set in its own gardens and was an easy journey into the city centre, so it sounded like an ideal base... more

We stayed two nights at this hotel in September. The directions from the hotel website and Mapquest which we normally use were hopeless so it took us some time to find it. Like a previous review we were also concerned as we seemed to be a long way out of the city but the location is good. We had a... more

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel in August 2007 - At first, en route in the taxi to this hotel, I was a little surprised at just how far out of Florence this hotel was. It said 3km but it certainly felt longer than 3kms in a taxi (I think it probably is). It cost about €15 to get... more

This hotel was really great. The location is slightly outside the centre, probably not walking distance. However there are frequent buses from near the hotel, the no.10/17. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing. The pool was great, however there were only 2 sun loungers that fully reclined. The room was fairly large, as was the bathroom. All the hotel... more

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights in August and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is set in beautiful greenery and gardens, with stunning sculptures and wonderful architecture. It is one of the few hotels in Florence with a swimming pool, which was a good size, clean and with sun loungers. It is around a 15 min... more
