Hotel Europa in Florence was a good option we had picked for ourselves for our 2 day stay at Florence. Very clean beds, toilets(recently renovated hotel), friendly English speaking staff, decent breakfast spread. Located quite close to the Academia and not far away from the Church and Uffizi. My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights; it is fantastic. It is family operated and they treat their guests like family. The room was clean and recently renovated, but most importantly, it was quiet although it is situated only minutes from the Duomo and David. Breakfast is fine, nothing fancy.
