We loved our stay two weeks ago. The first sight of the hotel will amaze you as you drive through columns and into a circular driveway. Upon stopping we had two bell persons at our car welcoming us and escorting us to check in. The staff were so polite and charming we knew we were in for a great stay.... more

We booked this as a short break through Expedia. On our arrival the hotel staff had some trouble clarifying confirmation of payment etc (apparently they needed vouchers from us - turns out they would have been sent these from Expedia direct). So anyone else going down this same route just be prepared for a bit of explanation at the beginning... more

You know you are in for something special if you drive up to the hotel at night. The winding uphill road through the forest makes it feel totally out of way and this feel is enhanced by the long driveway. Nice lobby as well. The Buehlerhoehe is wonderful, even for the scenery alone. The hotel is beautiful - the grounds, the open spaces, the pool area. We had a balcony room, which was worth the additional expense.
