The recently renovated Lambton Court Apartments are fantastic value in Wellington. The apartments are very spacious with very swish looking with mint green leather lounge suites (not really comfortable but hey they look great!!). The 2 bed apartments are clean and spacious with 2 large bathrooms, located in a redone office building. But there are a few issues: -> no one thought to put in soundproofing from outside - Lambton Quay is a busy street with lots of buses and pubs on weeknights and we could hear everything. There are not as many small hotels in Wellington as you find in Sydney - not by a long shot! After a few turns around the city centre hauling luggage - spotted Lambton Court serviced apartments. More than you would expect - very spacious and with full amenities - reasonable price and good location. more

Lambton Court is an excellent place to stay when you visit Wellington. Their bathroom is spotloss, and the hot water is very strong and steady - taking a shower felt like soaking in a hot tub. Good apartment hotel. Great facilities and good location. It is down the far end of Lambton close to the behive. Very clean and good facilities including LCD TV, and kitchen. Service was excellent, and allowed us late checkout of 4pm... without extra charge. more

These serviced appartments are just the thing if like me you are overdosing on hotels or just want to do your own thing. One and two bedrooms (I have stayed in both) with a modern kitchen and lounge with wide screen tv. very convinient for the centre of Wellington and very clean new and fresh. Its the best of both... more
