Our trip to Prague was magnificent. We stayed at the Movenpick Hotel. Very good service and great location. The Czech people very polite (even young people gave me their seat on trams, etc.) I would go back again. Food is reasonably priced and service excellent. Initial impression was that the hotel access was poor with road changes leaving the place hard to get to. The Movenpick is located outside the old city on a hill with a great view. The hotel is split into 2 a lower half and an upper half higher on the hill.
