Booked a 3 night stay over the July 4th weekend. Found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. Area questions were answered quickly and accurately. Had a special rate offer w/ gas cards for each night. The gas cards were the only glitch - hotel only had enough to provide me 1 of the 3 I was entitled too.... more

My husband and I stayed at the Residence Inn/Vermont St. in November of 2007. This was our first time in D.C and we were there to do all the touristy stuff...LOL. Anyway, I picked the Residence Inn for 2 reasons....1. We usually try to stay at a Marriott brand hotel and 2. The price was really good...$119.00 a night. First... more

We stayed 5 nights at the Residence Inn and used it as a base to explore DC and make a side trip to Monticello. It was perfect for a long stay since there was room to spread out and a full kitchen (including dishwasher). We requested a room on an upper floor and were on the 8th floor facing another... more

My room faced the street and it was extremely noisy at night. I could hear the motor of a loading truck until 2am! more

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn on a family weekend trip. The service was excellent and friendly. The one bedroom suite was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is free and good. In-room Internet access is also free. Our room didn't have the correct Ethernet cable -- I called the desk and someone brought it up within a few minutes, even... more

I prefer residence inns for business travel because of their room amenities and breakfasts. This one was horrible. I was first assaulted by the very unpleasant odor in the room. I then switched the light and noticed movement on the pillow. Yes, it was a huge cockroach! I switched rooms with assistance from an accommodating security guard, who checked out... more

I stayed here for three nights while attending a conference in DC. The room was large, comfortable, and wonderfully clean, and I loved having a kitchen (even though I only used the refrigerator) in the room. The complimentary breakfast was also great. And, the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The location couldn't be better, either. Only problem was noise from... more

I am a fan of the Residence Inn and this one lives up to the chain standards. *Staff: Unfortunatelly my 1st impression was bad. The lady who checked me in (Sammy) was very unpolite, she never said good afternoon, thank you or something similar. However the rest of the staff is very friendly and they made up for Sammy, specially... more

Stayed here weekend of Aug 10-13 with family. After unloading luggage we noticed a strong animal 'smell' in the room. When I asked for a can of air freshener, they said that they didn't have one (!!). They offered to run a room cleaning machine (but we couldn't be in the room for an hour) or move us to another... more

Great Location. Close to McPherson Square Metro stop. Huge room. Clean, friendly staff, overall, just a great place to stay. Will stay again, even without Priceline. more
