I have been to Belize 8 times starting in 1989. While Placentia is by far the most laid back and quiet, nothing tops Sundiver for the sheer joy of life. Tazmara and her staff are tops. The place is incredibly beautiful and has none of the frenetic energy of San Pedro. It truly is an island paradise. more

I stayed at the Sundiver for 10 days with my spouse and 4-year old daughter in January, and was disappointed after reading such glowing reviews.
