I stayed at the Amari Atrium Bangkok on the 14th and 15th of July, 2008. Major drawback-It is badly located and you need a taxi to go anywhere within Bangkok-the taxi drivers refuse to run the meter and overcharge, some tell you that they will not run the meter once you are well on the way, leaving you stuck. The... more

Really liked this hotel, good value for money. There is nothing outside of this hotel so it means a tuk tuk or cab ride to get to anywhere. Very comfortable with a 5 star breakfast. Staff helpful and rooms cosy and large. We have stayed here twice and you will get asked if you want to upgrade your room which... more

We stayed at the Amari Atrium for three nights as part of a stopover package. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. They were most concerned when our pick up for a booked tour was late. When we arrived we were offered an upgrade, at extra cost. We declined and found that our more basic accomodation was ideal for... more

The problems you will encounter is that all the staff smile and say yes......... specially where tips are concerned - BUT they do not understand the words you say. Smile and nodd and make errors glore - VERY fustrating - be careful what you book and what they try and charge you - also never let your credit card out... more

A great hotel and a firm favourite. The staff are uniformly polite, smiling and friendly - a great pity that the same cannot be said for too many of the rude, boorish guests whom one finds so often, and of all nationalities. The hotel is always clean and well maintained in our experience of many visits. Breakfasts are outstanding, though... more

It could be a good business hotel, but if you're in BKK for tourism, better choose another hotel, since this one is really far away from everyting. Transfer by taxi is binding, but if in rush hour you'll waste a lot of time standing on line. The property is anyway nice and really well maintained and very very clean. The... more

This hotel is fine with excellent service from the Thai staff always very helpful. However the rooms are in need of some refurbishment I was disappointed with the rooms. The buffet breakfast was great though!! But I have to say the location is not great too far away from familiar places really in the middle of nowhere!! I would not... more

I have stayed many times in the Amari Atrium Hotel because it is a good hotel with international standards and a friendly, professional service. For not even 80 USD you get a big room with a great breakfast . The staff is very friendly and helpful everybody speaks good English and the location is near the city centre. They have... more

I'm writing this to support "sirhavier" post. I too had my credit card info stolen and had ZERO response from management. I too checked in (at the side VIP desk). I gave my (foreign) credit card for deposit. It was the first and only time I used this credit card in about 10 months as I now live in Thailand.... more
