I stayed 4 nights in Somerset Park when I first arrived in Bangkok, and one more night just before I left and I can do nothing but RAVE about the place. For under A$90, I had a huge one bedroom apartment to myself, beautifully furnished and decorated with great views and a 10 minute walk to Silom Road . Staff... more

Our first impression of this place was wow! There was a lot of room to move in the Somerset as it is an apartment rather than a hotel. The rooms have been made up with great taste. The service is fantastic and the place is quiet and calm. The only downsides were that it is not as close to the... more

Booked this accomodation last minute and the room was beyond my wildest expectations. The 2 bedroom 120 sqm room was HUGE!!! its more than adaquate living space for 2 people, and can probably hold a decent dinner party if you had to. The room itself was fantastic, everything was new. Breakfast was devine, cooked eggs for you on the spot... more

the hotel room was huge, i would highly recommend this apartment to families, esp with babies or kids. while it comes with a 3-star facility i would say. - unstable water temp @ shower, - desk in master bedroom is not cleaned thoroughly - some spots of sticky thing on it - donno wat it is. - the breakfast setting... more

We stayed two nights in a large one bedroom apartment. The apartments are brand new with tasteful furnishings and fully equipped kitchens. We stayed on one of the higher floors and the view across Bangkok was fantastic. The hotel has a well equipped gym, reasonable outdoor (but undercover) pool, table tennis room, tennis court, etc all of which are in... more

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 6 nights. Wow, what a place to stay in a good location in Bangkok. We travel here nearly every year .....& what a find. Forget hotel rooms ! Everything about this apartment hotel was exceptional ...including the breakfasts. Even the large garden forecourt was lush green and tranquil. The apartment was very... more

This was our first 'Serviced Apartment' experience. We were apprehensive. Would it be warm and friendly ? Or cold and impersonal. The Somerset (part of the worldwide Ascot group) was a revelation. We got a spacious bedroom, a lavish living room, a fully stocked kitchen, an efficient bathroom and a fabulous balcony with an even better view of the Bangkok... more

Of the many serviced apartments in Bangkok, this "hotel's" normal rooms are 70 square meters, with living area separated from bedroom. Nicely appointed rooms, clean, well-kept, fully equipped kitchens, large lovely pool, tennis court, self-service laundry facilities, a small convenience store on site and restaurant. Daily aeorbic class is free to guests and yoga is also offered on site. It... more

I have travelled all around the world over the years and this was my second trip to Thailand. I stayed at The Somerst Park for about a month. The hotel itself was very nice, unique, contemporary, and comfortable. It was the efforts and professionalism of the management and staff that won my heart. I was treated by all with respect,... more
