Marvellous colonial hotel with orignal black and white tlied floors and corridors. Super pool, but a very busy hotel. Had a pleasant dinner for a very reasonable price, breakfast was first class with lovely home-made preserves and everything one could wish for. more

Raffles Le Royal is beautifully decorated with antique furniture in the common areas and the rooms. It is full of atmosphere and colonial charm. And it is very comfortable. The Elephant bar is gorgeous and the pool is lovely. It's a great oasis in a challenging, lively city. But I wouldn't say the service was flawless or necessarily world class.... more

2nd time in the Raffles, Phnom Penh, the setting is beautify, the rooms have an old world feel, the pools (both of them) are great, the service is wonderful (though not as good as 2 years ago) and the staff fairly attentive. My wife and I have been to Cambodia several times and all we hear about is the Raffles in Phnom Penh being the best, so we booked for 5 nights. The outside looks nice, french colonial.
