Okay, this is in many ways a nice hotel. The Ritz chain is my favorite and is generally the most consistent luxury chain in terms of quality. However, on balance, our experience was only average. The exterior is an ugly, off-putting mirrored glass tower that resembles an insurance company's headquarters. The hotel's location on a steep hill inconvenient to shops... more

We spent three nights at this hotel in June and were extremely impressed by the standard of customer care. They excelled at anticipating guests' needs in an unobtrusive and friendly manner and how nice it was to be told 'it's my pleasure' after thanking staff members. We were always greeted on our return to the hotel and given a cold drink... more

Dont be put off by the exterior! inside lies one of the most luxurious hotels imaginable! Massive rooms with the most amazing views of the Bosphorus, large bathrooms with bath AND shower, very clean, bed turned down every night with weather forecast for the next day left on your bed. Staff always at your beck and call for whatever you... more

My wife and I wanted four nights, but only two was available due to 5/11 Formula One Grand Prix. Compared w/ other locations, it was delightfully cheaper with close to their standard service. Yea, i saw the same warning card for the window cleaning, but never bothered with it and haven't seen them doing it either :-) Club level breakfast... more

We stayed there for three nights in May 2008. Club Level Suite. Service was excellent - probably among the best we've ever received. Staff was extraordinary attentive and friendly. They really care about you. Room perfectly clean and well furnished. Excellent King Size Bed. Good Spa with nice pool. A perfect experience. The only thing, we did not understand was... more

We were lucky enough to stay in a club level room and that was just divine. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly attentive and observent. They greated us by our last names before we had even checked-in and insisted we sat and drunk tea before we unpacked. The club level serves a full breakfast and during the... more

From the moment we arrived (4 hours late thanks to Heathrow's Terminal 5 debacle), everything was perfection. Possibly the most attentive and polite staff we have ever encountered with great local dining and sight-seeing tips from the Head Concierge. The room was immaculate with a view of the Bosphorus and a really comfortable bed with crisp linen. Amex treated us... more

This is a somewhat limited review as we only stayed here one night and didn't use any of the hotel's facilities like restaurants, health club etc. Check in was quick and easy. The room was typical Ritz-Carlton, very luxurious and plush. The bathroom was very large with a great, seperate rain shower. The bed was very comfortable with lots of... more

We stayed at this hotel during my brother's wedding celebration. They were not terribly flexible on their rates despite the fact that our wedding party had 1/3 of their rooms occupied! However the staff were always trying to be helpful and all together the service was very good. The breakfast was great, the pool and spa were delightful and the... more
