We have just returned from two weeks at Fort Arabesque staying from 05/09/08 - 19/09/08. This has been our fourth time to Egypt We went with Thompson Holidays all inclusive and would advise those going to catch the earlier morning flight rather than the afternoon flight which we did. The fight was crammed with little leg room but bearable This... more

is salaam alykum, My family stayed at" The Fort" the 1st 2 weeks in August. I had checked out the other reviews before I booked and most of them were really helpful. The hotel is amazing we couldn't say anything negative about it.The rooms were spotless and our attendant was so friendly and went out of his way to look... more

lot of you will no doubt be interested in the beach, and its fantastic, but you will have to be up early to get a decent spot. For a laugh, i went down one morning at 6am, in a bid to get one over another nation in the "Towel-Olympics". I needn't have bothered, in a field of over 100, i... more

We stayed at Fort Arabesque from the 18th July to 25th. Customs was very slow but the bags were ready for us when we got through and the coach journey was about 30 mins. Check in was very good and they had provided a simple plate of food each in our rooms as we arrived after the restaurant closed. The... more

We stayed at the fort arabesque from the 6th to the 20th June this year. We booked the holiday with Thomson holidays and really enjoyed our time there. The flights were actually with first choice, and to be honest were pretty bad both there and back, as the flight crew seemed to have no idea what they were doing, we... more

Just returned from 2 week stay at Fort A. We are regular Egypt visitors normally staying at Taba Heights, but wanted to go over this side to do the Luxor trip so booked Fort A with some trepidation. Nothing to worry about here at all. OK so the buildings and interior decor may not be the most modern and eye... more

This place is absolutely fab. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are stunning.. The beach is georgeous. Really long and the umbrellas are spaced so that you are not on top of the next person. Can always get a sunbed down there, we arrived after 10 every day and always found spaces. The end of the beach towards the... more

If you look at my other reviews, you will see that:- a) I am a travel agent and b) I am not always effusive about the hotel (look at my last Dom. Rep review) FLIGHTS/CHECK-IN Efficiency at Gatwick was absolutely superb. No queue at check in, and speedy in the extreme. Flightt out (First Choice) was relatively pain free, but... more

We had a really relaxing stay at the Fort Arabesque. Rooms: Huge! Two double beds for some reason, but no problem there, TV pretty good (nice to relax watching a film now and then), minibar only stocked with two mineral waters and two pepsis which was a bit poor, great shower and reasonable bathroom. We were on the bottom floor,... more
