Excellent hotel with beautiful rooms only 30 min walk to Kremlin. We were fed as a group but the food was excellent. Not very busy probably because most people only do St Petersburg. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal. The staff were more than helpful - and they smiled unlike the ones we had encountered in our hotel in St Petersburg. more

Although the location of the hotel is not near to the centre of Moscow and the sights around Red Square, it is only 2 metro stops away which was not as inconvienient as we first thought. I would not recommend walking from the hotel to Red Square due to the distance, but if time permits it may be an option.... more

This hotel was booked for me through my company for a business trip. for the price (8500 RUR) I was expecting something nice, but basic. What I got was something OK, but basic. My room was absolutely tiny and reminded me of a travellodge. There were hardly any toiletries in the bathroom. I had to phone reception to get an... more

I stayed here during a business visit to Moscow. We chose this because it was close to our event and the price was lower than some of the other chains. The staff is nice. Everyone speaks english well. I speak only a little russian so that was helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. A buffet of meat/cheese/bread and also some american-style things... more

This hotel is reasonably located near to many main attractions with just about a seven minute walk from one of the main metro stops. The breakfast is excellent and internet connection is good. The rooms are also clean. During the day, the Swedish woman who run the hotel are so nice and accommodating. But, during the evening, the Russian young... more

Hotel Katerina in Moscow is a very pleasant, four-star standard establishment. I booked via Asiarooms.com and paid a very reasonable price, all the more so given the seeming expense of accomodation in Moscow. It's within a few minutes walk of Pavletskaya metro station, and also the main-line station of the same name which has regular express trains to Domodedovo airport.... more

A superb hotel, located only 3KM from Red Square the Kremlin in Central Moscow. It's not out of the way and is not far. It's located in a quiet area with a lot of business, redevelopment and investment in the air. The breakfasts were nice and the room was lovely. It was good value and I would recommend it to... more

I stayed here for three nights in July and found it to be really pleasant. The rooms were a decent size, with a minibar (albeit very expensive) and a good shower. If you're used to American hotels it's nothing special but it serves the purpose for a long weekend or a business trip Moscow. The staff in the hotel were... more

Have been to Moscow many times, but not to this hotel. What a joy to discover the friendliest staff and a super yummy breakfast. Besides that the beds were comfy, the wi-fi is fast and cheap. Its really a "no-frills" place; modern, minimalist and simple. I got a good night’s sleep, a great meal in a relaxing atmosphere. In an... more

Hotel Katerina is a wonderful, not overpriced hotel in an expensive city. The hotel rooms are average-sized but have comfortably beds and some have nice views of the river. Breakfasts were incredible and dinners delicious. Nice sauna and the internet costs were very cheap. Location was not that great but if you're ok with walking, the Kremlin is not too... more
