My wife and I travelled to Bocas del Toro from Costa Rica and spent 7 perfect nights at La Coralina. We stayed in the ocean view suite which was beautifully decorated with an amazingly comfortable bed. Stacey, the owner, was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. She welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. With the help... more

As a family with 2 teenagers, it is difficult to find a vacation spot which can keep everyone in our group happy. Hotel La Coralina succeeded in pleasing all of us. The owner, Stacey, was a perfect host. She is very friendly and gracious. She is present, busy about the hotel, all day and night, yet ready to chat, give... more

My family and another spent our spring break at Bocas. We knew coming in that it would not be a five start resort in a pristine setting. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel had nice big rooms with nice decor. Our suites and the kids rooms had adequate air conditioning and had wonderful bathrooms. Stacy and her staff took... more

Obviously, reading the Tripadvisor posts, you're going to feel strongly about La Coralina, one way or another. My friend and I loved La Coralina and the entire Bocas experience. And I can be as snobby and as high of maintenance as any traveler out there, but I knew in advance that I needed to muster up an open mind, sense... more

Stayed in mid-April, found La Coralina's website most accurate in it's descripton. Nice sized room decorated with regional art and found the private bath very clean. Slept like a rock each night with windows open listening to the ocean (comfortable bed & nice linens). We relaxed during our holiday absorbing the oceanfront view from deck, beachcombed, horseback rode, spent a... more

I would suggest you really look into Bocas before going there. The town is a dump. We just spent 3 weeks in Panama (my forth trip to the country), and Bocas was the only place we went that was a complete regret. Now, La Coralina. We had booked 3 days, but left the next morning after arriving, no refund -... more

We were supposed to stay here for several nights, but after the first few hours we decided to leave early. It went from deciding to cut our trip one night short, down to just deciding to leave the next morning. I realize that some folks like this setting, and are actually attracted to the charm of this underdeveloped, "eco-friendly" nature... more

We just returned from one week at La Coralina. We were two couples from Oregon and Montana. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. La Coralina is a couple miles out of the main town of Bocas. The road is extremely poor so the drive takes 25 minutes or so. Stacey (the owner) does a great job of... more

We recently spent our family's spring break on vacation at La Coralina in Bocas Town. The property was located about 2 miles outside the town of Bocas down a bumpy gravel road - very private and away from any of the more "touristy" parts of Bocas. This was exactly what the doctor ordered for our family. The property was very... more
