This is the most exciting place we have ever stayed. The scarlet mcaws, monkeys, flowers, food and, not to mention the greatest house, Casa Blanca!! It was the best accomadation for our family. We rented it to be able to cook for our famiy, but after just one meal at the Lodge, we forgot all about cooking. We really like... more

As true wildlife lovers, we found great joy in seeing Capucin, Howler and Spider monkeys literally swinging from the trees outside our casita as well as seeing scarlet macaws and amazonian parrots flying overhead and coatis running across the immense gardens. There are also agoutis and of course lizards and at night, by the pond, one can see snakes and... more

If you want a holiday which will exceed all your expectations then Bosque del Cabo on the Osa Peninsula is the place to go. On arriving at Bosque we were met by friendly staff who greeted us with an ice cold drink before showing us to our cabina. The cabina was clean with an outside shower, which I loved, and... more

Our family recently stayed in the Casa Blanca House at Bosque del Cabo and had one of the best vacation experiences ever. The house was clean, comfortable and had an amazing porch overseeing the Pacific Ocean. We loved watching the monkey troops swing in the trees as we sat on our porch. I was expecting the bedrooms to be uncomfortable... more

We travelled with our twin six year old boys. Extremely active, beautiful casitas and perfect for our family. The staff was lovely. The chef, Maureen was more than happy to cook up a platter of mac and cheese , chicken fingers or whatever was requested for the little ones, while the adults dined on delicious local food. And if you... more

We stayed at Bosque del Cabo at Casa Blanca .I think the house was definetely not what is stated in all positive reviews. The house is run down and need a big remodeling. Also pest control is a must.I know that Bosque is eco lodge, but there is also ecological spray against insects. When I planed my vacation I solely depended on reviews... more

When my girlfriend and I were planning our trip Costa Rica we knew that we only had a limited amount of time to stay and wanted to see only the best places. I had travelled to the Osa Peninsula before and knew that there was a magical place at the tip of Cabo Matapalo called Bosque del Cabo. We ended... more

WOW! What a trip to beautiful Bosque del Cabo. We stayed there in Casa Blanca, a home just perfect for couples or whole families. It is located above the ocean and just perfect to sit on the porch and watch the Pacific Ocean. The whole area, the 750 acres, is so safe to be at. Its on the south-west tip... more

Well, I can't say very much that hasn't been said about BDC. I think that the last reviewer hit the nail on the head. I will try and comment on the items that stood out. Location: Great location. Stunning grounds. The trees and other plants are all enormous. Think Jurassic Park (but replace dinosaurs with monkeys). Food: The food was... more

After reading the previous comments, I feel it's necessary to put my two cents worth in. This was our 6th trip to Bosque (we've travelled all around CR) - but always end up back at Bosque!! Imagine having the wildlife co-existing with you... AMAZING. We also stayed at Casa Blanca and LOVED it. It was the most relaxing time ever.... more
