Expensive for what you get. No main swimming pool, had to borrow the one next door.We were near a main road and a shopping mall. We dislike so much the B&B that when we arrive we started to look for other places to sleep and for almost half of the cost we found a oasis called Amara. Unlike the Amara,... more
We spent a quick overnight at the Lodge of Sedona during a busy business trip in Phoenix. We rented a car and drove the two hr trip to Sedona with many stops to take photos because of the beautiful scenery along the way. Once we got to Sedona, the colors were vibrant, the views were spectacular and the Lodge of... more
We booked the Copper Canyon room because it was one of the few rooms with a King bed, which actually is two twins put together and not very comfortable. At no time were we informed that Copper Canyon was a "dog friendly" room. We sat in the armchair in the room and our clothing was covered with little white dog... more
We stayed for three nights in the Whispering Winds suite at the Lodge, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. We simply loved the Lodge. The room was beautifully appointed, and the fireplace kept us warm and cozy on chilly nights. We enjoyed hot cider on our patio in the afternoons, which was really a treat. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming,... more
The Lodge is really lovely and the staff is friendly. We had a great time overall in Sedona. The lodge was in a great location to go hiking and sightseeing. **Warning: Do not stay in the Rustic Rider room if you like to sleep in past 5AM. The generated is located directly outside the room and kept us up all... more
We enjoyed a 2 day day at this inn in their Red rock Crossing Suite. The room was wonderful, great shower/hot tub. Breakfast was great both mornings. If you are a bird-watcher, their hummingbirds were a joy! Labyrinth was interesting and i enjoyed all the little tid-bits left behind at the center (mine amongst them). the area has wonderful hiking/great... more
The Lodge at Sedona is a beautiful and peaceful lodging choice. Don't let the location fool you - the lodge is tucked away so you can't even tell you're within walking distance to a major road. We took advantage of the 20% discount and found the bottom line price to be a good value for the area. We stayed in... more
I went up overnight to stay at the Lodge, I wanted to make the afternoon tea, which was a little disappointing for the selection of items(few). The place is beautiful, mission style, great architecture, the labrynith(not to impressive and not spa-like, I was standing there looking at it when others made the same remarks). It is behind a church and/or... more
The lodge at Sedona is a wonderful place. The staff could not have nicer and the grounds are fantastic. Copper Canyon is a very nice room with a private entrance to the back deck for breakfast. The entire establishment is very clean and "classy". The breakfast was cooked to perfection. I would highly recomment the Lodge at Sedona. Don't hesitate... more
